Biodico (formerly Biodiesel Industries) builds, owns and operates production facilities based upon patented and proprietary technology developed over the past 16 years, and is one of the industries’ leading pioneers. Biodico has developed facilities in Australia, California, Colorado, Nevada and Texas, and has conducted feedstock and production feasibility studies for clients worldwide. Biodico’s team of experts is called upon frequently to address conferences and conduct workshops both domestically and internationally. Biodico is also the recipient of numerous grants to conduct fundamental research. In 2005, the Company was selected to receive the US EPA Project of the year award for developing the first ever, biogas operated, renewable biofuels production facility.

For the past seven years Biodico has worked with the U.S. Navy under a Cooperative Research & Development Agreement (CRADA) to design, develop, and deploy modular biodiesel production systems capable of processing the widest possible array of feedstocks. Two years ago Aerojet, Inc. (www.aerojet.com) joined the CRADA to jointly develop next generation processing capabilities as part of the advanced ARIES© platform (see press release).  The new ARIES© system is being installed at the National Environmental Test Site at Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, California.
